I am a sales executive at Jewel Cafe, Tropicana Gardens Mall. I analyze, estimate and appraise through the item that customer bring to the shop.  Jewel Cafe here purchased wide variety of items including gold, watch, handbag, diamond and also broken jewel. Since I started working here, I learn, study and gain new knowledge. This will make me more confident in convincing and becoming a professional for every item that customer bring to me. Other than that, in Jewel Cafe they provided training as well as shares information among staff so that every staff can give the best service to customer and become knowledgeable when the customer came to the shop.

My Happiest Work-Related Experience

Working in Jewel Cafe, we use the word “it’s never too late to learn and every day I learn something new”.  Apart from that, I am able to learn new knowledge from manager and senior staffs especially on how to conduct an appraisal, how to succeed on getting a customer or even how to analyze an item. However, as soon as a customer arrive, we always make sure to build trust by explaining our procedure and specialized equipment details that we may use. Despite the unexpected result and unsuccessful purchase, even after few negotiations, I am glad that I will be able to apply the knowledge and provide customer the services that I’ve been trained.

I love the vibe and the layout arrangement in Jewel Cafe especially that everything are clean, organized, and smells nice. Our store is surrounded with the tree/flower decoration and the fragrances smell that makes me feel bright and positive. The decoration and the environment make my day very positive, enjoyable and happy to be working here.

To everyone who is still hunting for the perfect job for a brighter future and having second thought on pursuing your own dream rather than working as an employee, Jewel cafe is not searching for the best result in present but here, they are seeking for your willingness in learning new things and not having a lot experience doesn’t count.  However, I believe everyone can obtain different skills and knowledge from time to time. Just like I said, if you are willing to learn there is nothing you can’t achieve. Don’t ever feel afraid to try new thing and make changes. 

It matters that what you think of the work environment as well as how comfortable you are working so that the production is effective and positive. As an outcome, it will also lead to company success!
